Hey team. I wanted to give you an update on timing for when I will be back in stock. It has been... an adventure. Here's the good news:
- the sheets have been manufactured and picked up from the factory.
Great! Yes. Here's the bad news:
- they didn't get onto the boat they were scheduled for and so we hit a supposed 8 day delay.
I say supposed because I won't really commit to this timing until the pallet is actually confirmed to be on the new boat. I've been burned a few times with committing to timing for it to blow up later and then I need to recalculate and send lots of updates. So I'm going to keep it loose until I really know.
There's also a little bit of fuzzy timing once they arrive in the US as they'll need to be brought somewhere and unloaded from the container, then get through customs, and then get to Vommat HQ.
I'm pretty confident that they'll be here and ready to ship in the Dec. 20-25 range but again I don't want to commit to that until I really know.
Last time I imported by air, this time by sea. Air is obviously simpler and faster but that comes with a significantly higher cost. Over time I'll figure out what works best.
For those of you who have already ordered and are waiting, some for a very long time, I want you to know I appreciate your patience and your support! I couldn't do this without you (literally), THANK YOU SO MUCH. I'll let everyone know when I've got more info here and on Instagram. Ciao for now!
